Papertake Weekly Guest DT Card 'Black & White + 1'

Well it's that time of week again and time for another Guest DT card for Papertake Weekly. I can't believe this is my 3rd week already, last one next week .. sniff .. but it has been loads of fun. This week the challenge is black and white plus one accent colour of your choice, I chose pink! Charisma Cardz Challenge 38

Good afternoon. Today I have made a card for my nephew Jack, it is his birthday on the 1st and it also happens to fit into the theme over at Charisma Cardz which is 'getting sporty'. Digital Tuesday Challenge 26 'Heart to Heart' DT Card

Good morning everyone, hope you are all having a great week. Today's card is my first DT card for Digital Tuesday. This week's challenge is 'heart to heart' so you need to use hearts on your card and a digital image. The image I have used is one of my favourites from Pollycraft's Promise collection and I have coloured it with my trusty Promarkers. Wedding Card

Good afternoon. Today I have made a wedding card for my sister in law to give to her sister in law as she has just got married - they went away on holiday and came back married, how romantic is that .. awww! Anyway they are having a party to celebrate in the next week or so, hence the card. The image I have used is Lola Rose from Pink Petticoat and the papers are Pink Petticoat too, I have coloured with a mixture of Promarkers and glitter glue to add a bit of sparkle. I don't often make wedding cards and I am quite pleased with how this has turned out, just hope my sister in law agrees. I have also purchased a small battery sewing machine today as I have been longing to add stitching to my cards for ages but I am useless at sewing by hand. I am really pleased with it, it was a trauma to set it up but that was probably down to me being daft but now it is up and running it is great and it only cost £12 from Dunelm .. perfect!

Crafty Catz Challenge 1 DT Card

Good morning everyone, hope you are having a lovely Friday, aren't the weeks flying by all of a sudden ! Today is the first challenge over on Crafty Catz and my first DT card for them. This weeks challenge is a colour combo of Green, Blue and Brown with the option of adding a charm and there is some fantastic candy to be won. I have used a Miss Anya stamp coloured with my trusty promarkers and I have added lots of flowers, I just cannot help myself. Some Exciting News ..

Good afternoon all, hope Friday is treating you well where ever you are. Sorry I have not been around much this week but I have been poorly, full of a sore throat and flu and I have not felt well enough to craft, it has been a disaster. Well earlier this week I did get an email which cheered me up from the lovely Ellie over at Digital Tuesday, she asked if I would join her design team and I said yes ! how could I turn her down, it is a great opportunity to work with a great bunch of very talented ladies and also a perfect excuse to use all those digital images I have on my computer and not used much. You can see my first Digital Tuesday DT card on Tuesday 29th September and would love it if you could pop over to the challenge blog and take part too !

New Challenge Blog & Blog Candy

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are all having a lovely Monday. I have lots of exciting news today, the first being that the lovely Kirsty over at Fairycake Cards is lauching a new challenge blog soon called Crafty Catz and she has asked me to be on her design team, well how could I say no, it is a dream come true. The challenge blog should be up and running very soon so as soon as I have the date I will let you all know, but in the mean time pop over to the blog and meet the other lovely ladies on the design team and become a follower - if you could spread the word we would be very grateful and grab yourself the logo it is very cute.

My next news is that as I am virtually at 2000 hits, small compared to some I know but I am excited all the same and also it is my wedding anniversary today and now with the exciting new challenge blog news I have decided to give away my first blog candy. Allsorts Challenge Week 17

Good afternoon, and what a gorgeous sunny one it is too! My only complaint is that everytime I open my patio doors for some air naughty wasps fly in ... tut tut ! Anyway enough of my moaning and on to a card. I have made todays card for my husband as it is our wedding anniversary on Monday, 6 lovely years and it is nearly 12 that we have actually been together. I have done a very plain and simple card for me but I know that is what he likes and that he will appreciate it, well he bettter had. lol! I have decorated the inside of the card and done a verse but in my excitement to get done forgot to take a photo ... doh! I am also entering this card into the Allsorts Challenge as by totally luck this week the challenge is a card for a man, perfect ! Anyway pop over to Allsorts and have a look at all the lovely DT creations there are some great designs.

Die Cut Dreams 'Pink' DT Call

Good afternoon everyone hope you are having a lovely week. Ben went back to school on Tuesday and has settled back in really well and has had a great time so far. He is repeating reception class this year as both us and the school felt he would benefit from this, no point moving him up and him not coping and hating every minute. Grayce had her first morning in preschool yesterday and loved it, didn't expect anything less really my little miss confident she is so the opposite of me, which is probably a good thing, I make wall flowers look outgoing. LOL! Anyway I have made a card for the Diecut Dreams DT call this week, the lovely girls over at Diecut are looking for 2 new members of their team and they have asked for a pink themed card so as I love pink and I love Diecut Dreams products I couldn't resist. I have done another Anya but this time as a christmas card, it now brings my grand total for the year up to 3 .... think I need to get a move on don't you ..
