Just Magnolia Challenge 2

Hello, I cannot believe we are on Wednesday already, the weeks are flying by. Today I have done a card for the Just Magnolia challenge, this time you have to use the colours pink and green. I really enjoyed using these colours and I am pleased with how my Tilda came out but I am not that happy with the card over all, maybe it is a bit plain, but my husband says he likes it so there you are. I would love to know what everyone thinks if you have time to leave me a comment, I need to know if I have completely lost my mojo or not.

Friday Sketchers Challenge 49

Happy Tuesday everyone, hope you are having more cheerful weather than me, it is so grey and dull today! I have Ben off school at the minute, yep he got them the dreaded chicken pox, I thought it would have been to good to be true if he didn't after Grayce had them over Easter. Anyway even with them both at home I have managed a little card for the Friday Sketchers challenge, this week there is a lovely sketch by Murmur, pop over and have a look there are some great DT cards too ! The card I have done is for my sister in law and her husband, it is their 2nd wedding anniversary today, so I hope they like it.

Colour Create Challenge 12

Hello and Happy Friday ! I can't believe how fast this week has gone, I have hardly done any crafting and decided to get my act together and I have come up with this card for the Colour Create challenge. This week the challenge is to use the colours black, pink and white with the option of polka dots. I really enjoyed this challenge as black is a colour I never use on my cards so it was nice having to use it and think about how to use it and for my first attempt I am quite pleased. The kids went back to school and playgroup today so I have managed to make a card for the very first challenge over on the new blog 'Just Magnolia'. Papertake Weekly Challenge Perfect Pastels!

Hello and Happy Saturday! I hope you all have glorious weather, it is fab up here in the North West, the kids have been playing in the garden and my plants are all smiling. lol! Anyway last night I made this card for the Papertake Weekly challenge but didn't have enough light for photos so I am posting it today instead. The challenge this week was to use pastel colours, which I love as it means I can use my favourite, pink ! I am not sure if I like my card or not as the green on the stem of the flower just doesn't seem right, even my hubbie commented on this, so I said it was all I had and therefore needed more Promarkers in various greens and he agreed, how good is that ! Whether he will let me buy more is another matter but here's to hoping ....

Colour Create Challenge 11 - Choc, Coffee and Cream

Hello. Well I've finally managed to make a card as Grayce is a little more herself today and I have decided to have a go at the challenge over on Colour Create. This week you have to use the colours chocolate, coffee and cream and as these are three of my favourite things how could I resist ! Hello !

Hello and Happy Wednesday. I hope everyone had a fantastic Easter. It was all going well here up until Saturday when my little girl Grayce came out in chicken pox. We had expected them ages ago as my niece has had them and they were flying around the school, so much for thinking we had escaped. Ben my little boy isn't showing any signs yet but I suppose only time will tell, it is his 5th birthday on the 7th May so I hope he hasn't got them for that, plus he has Downs Syndrome and like everything else he would no doubt get them twice as bad ! Anyway less of my pessimism and onto cards, I haven't had chance to make any for days now as Grayce has been so clingy but I am hoping to get going again maybe tonight as there are a few challenges I want to have a go at. Hope to post soon with piccies.

Charisma Cardz DT Call

Hello! Charisma Cardz are looking for a full time DT member and I have decided to apply and have made the following card as an example of my work. You have to use a theme of either pink, flowers or dreams and I started off with pink and seem to have managed to include flowers too! Charisma Cardz Challenge 13

Good morning and Happy Tuesday, Easter is nearly here and the school hols are here too and I can already feel my stress levels rising so I have managed to fit in making a card for the great sketch over on Charisma Cardz to calm me down. This week the sketch is by Lyndsey and it is lovely, I can see me using this one again at some point. Charisma Cardz are also looking for a fulltime design team member so I will be making a card for that too if I can today, the closing date for this is 16th April, 7pm GMT.

Clare's Sketch Challenge & My Nanna's Birthday

Hello everyone, it's Saturday again, I hope you are having a lovely day and that you all had better luck than me with the Grand National. I had a little bet on Silver Birch as I have just planted one in my garden and it was looking good for a while and then it all went wrong, never mind it's the taking part etc .. Anyway back to cards and this is one I made yesterday for Clare's sketch challenge over on Do Crafts and also I made it for my Nanna, it is her birthday on Monday. This is quite a reserved card for me compared to my last few and I quite like the fact you can see some of the white card, I think it works quite well and I am loving my Penelope downloads from Pollycraft at the moment they are so sweet. Hope you like my card, all your comments are always very much appreciated.

New Challenge Blog and DT Call

Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying today's slightly warmer weather. I thought I would share with you a new challenge blog that will be starting soon called Sunday Sketch and Stamp.
