Think Pink.. Pollycraft Challenge

This is my entry for the Think Pink! challenge over on Pollycraft. This is the first time I have entered the Pollycraft Monday challenge and as you had to use lots of pink - my favourite colour, I thought what a great challenge to start with. The image I have used is Heartfelt from the Pollycraft Promise collection, isn't she gorgeous and I have coloured her with a mixture of Promarkers, Marvey le Plumes and Sakura gel pens. The flowers are Prima and the papers are Laura Ashley, the ribbon and gems were from my stash. I have also had a go at decorating the inside of my card for the first time too, so lots of first's with this card. Hope you like it !

Clare's Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone, hope you are all well and enjoying the milder weather. The spring bulbs are on their way in my garden and it made me want to use my Dawn Bibby flower stamp, so I have had a go at this weeks sketch challenge over on Do Crafts and come up with this card.
The stamp is Dawn Bibby but I have cut it into 3 sections and coloured with Pro Markers, the gems and ribbon are from my stash and the papers are Dovecraft. Hope you like it and your comments are always very much appreciated.

My Pro Markers have finally arrived .....

Today was very exciting because my long awaited Pro markers finally arrived and I love them already. I have had a little go with them and made a card for my brother in law, it is his birthday tomorrow. I still need lots of practice and I do need more colours but I am quite pleased with how this card has turned out to say it is a first go. Hope you like it too !

School holidays

Well it is half term and I already have 2 fed up little monsters ... oops I meant angels ! We have been in all day today and I think we are all in need of fresh air, they have got a bit bored and are now taking it out on each other, bless them! Tomorrow should be better as Ben has a eye check up in the morning so Grayce is going to see my mum and then I'll take Ben there after his check up so that will be a nice change for them, they love visiting nanna and grandpa ! Anyway dispite everything I have managed to do a quick card for Clare's weekly challenge over on Do Crafts. This week the card had to be one colour so I have chosen my favourite colour ... pink ... and also included a very cute Tilda image, hope you like it !

Where are my Pro Markers ....

Oh I am sooooo impatient and a little too excited I think ! I ordered some Pro Markers a week ago and they have still not arrived although I have been told they are on the way. I can't wait for them to arrive and get started I have loads of images ready to colour. I only tend to use pencils but I have seen so many of your cards coloured with pro markers and they look fab that I have been inspired, lets hope I can use them once they arrive ... fingers crossed !

5th Birthday Card

Ben is going to a birthday party tomorrow so I have made this card for his friend Olivia. I have used a Tilda image and coloured her with a mixture of marvey le plumes and sakura gel pens. I have used Anita 3D gloss on the flower in her hand and the flowers in her hair and the papers were from a magazine. The flowers and ribbon were from my stash - I've had a big tidy of my little craft room under the stairs and found things I never knew I had ... oops !!!

Penny Black Hedgehog

I made this card for Clare's weekly sketch challenge over on Do Crafts. I love the Penny Black image and I loved the bright papers but now it is finished I am thinking it is maybe a bit too bright. Anyway I've used a Penny black image coloured with Marvey Le Plumes, papers from a magazine, Prima flowers and the ribbon and gems were from my stash.

Tilda Valentine Card

This is a card I made for Clare's weekly challenge over on Do Crafts. I love the Tilda image although I am a bit disappointed with how the colouring of her has come out. I really need to invest in some good markers so I can get a better finish as at the moment I just have pencils. The papers for the background came free with Simply Cards and Papercraft mag and the wooden heart and organza ribbon were from my stash. Hope you like it!

Birthday card for my Niece Isabella

This is the card I made for Issy for her birthday last Saturday. My daughter Grayce had been looking forward to Issy's party for most of the year so we were glad when the day finally arrived if you see what I mean, bless her ! I wasn't really happy with the letters I put across the top of the card and was going to change it to a computer generated greeting but time ran out and I had to go with it as it was, luckily she loved it !

The card is made with my new Lily and Milo stamp which i love it is soooo cute. The papers are from Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine, Prima flowers with swarovski gems and Papermania buttons.

Hello

I've not posted for a while now which isn't good when I am trying to get my new blog up and running but things have been hectic. My little boy Ben has been ill with this sickness virus which is going around, in fact most of the family have had it and then I got it at the weekend and I am still recovering. But still I have a few cards to post for you to see and then I need to get on with making my entry for this weeks sketch challenge run by Clare Curd over on Do Crafts. As soon as I have made the card I will post it.

Please accept my apologies for the quality of all my piccies on the blog at the moment. I really need to learn how to take really clear photos, if anyone has any hints or tips I would love to hear them. xxx
