Crafty Catz Challenge 28 - Red & Green - DT

Good afternoon, it's Friday again and a lovely sunny one too, long may it last for the weekend. Today is another new challenge over at Crafty Catz and this week the lovely Trish has set us the task of using red and green and to include a punch on our projects, she has also kindly donated the prize this week too. I have used a Miss Anya stamp this week as I felt I had neglected them a little of late and also my new basic grey papers. I hope you can join us as we love to visit you.

Digital Tuesday Challenge 54 - Paper Piecing - DT

Good afternoon. Hope you are all well and enjoying the lovely weather, I can't believe it has lasted so long fingers crossed it stays a little bit longer, my mother in law moves house on Saturday and it would be so much nicer for her if it was sunny! Today is another new challenge over at Digital Tuesday and this week we want to see paper piecing with digitals. I love paper piecing but tend to only do it with stamps so this made a nice change and I will definitely be doing it more often. Totally Gorjuss Challenge 25 - Texture - DT

Today I have my DT card for Totally Gorjuss. This week's challenge is to use texture on your card. Now I struggled with this for a while as all I could think to use was embossing and as I still need to buy a die cutting machine I had no way of doing that so in the end I used some very touchy feely lace and ribbon for my texture. I have used one of my favourite Gorjuss Girls, I always find this one a joy to colour and I love the little birdy, so cute! Crafty Catz Challenge 27 - Sketch - DT

Morning everyone and what a lovely one it is too, so nice to see Mr Sunshine 2 days in a row. We spent most of yesterday sorting out our poor garden after winter and it is looking a treat now, we had just one casulty of all the cold and snow one of my older trees, so up it came and now I have a big space to fill, the perfect excuse for a visit to the garden centre me thinks!! Anyway because of all the gardening yesterday I am a day late with my Crafty Catz DT card, but better late than never. This weeks challenge has been set by Kirsty and she has done us a great sketch to play with. We are sponsored by the lovely Beckie at Lilac Lemon Designs this week and she has joined us as a guest designer along with Tracey who won our GDT challenge a few weeks ago so hop over to the blog and see what they have come up with.

Now I have to admit these are colours I would never normally use together but now I have I think they do work and I am really pleased with the result. Digital Tuesday Challenge 52 - Scraps - DT

Hello! Just a quick post today and another late DT card. With the school hols and Ben not being well - been back to the doctor again this morning for more medicine I am getting nowhere fast. This week's challenge over on Digital Tuesday was to use scraps and I have used a piece of Basic Grey paper I had and some cord I found in the bottom of my bits and bobs box. I love the image, so simple yet elegant and it is from Digi Stamp Boutique.
