Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge 102 - Purple & Silver DT

Hello again! This is my last post for today and another new challenge over at Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge. Thank you to everyone who played along last week we had an amazing number of entries and we loved seeing them all. This week's theme is 'purple and silver' a combo I don't often use but as you will see from all the DT cards it is one that works quite well. I have used Tilda again, she has played a big part in my cards this week, I just can't resist her there is always an image for every occasion. The papers are Memory Box which I am loving at the moment and I have coloured with Promarkers which you can buy from the Secret Crafter shop.

Totally Gorjuss Challenge 49 - Christmas DT

Today is a new challenge at Totally Gorjuss and this week's theme is 'Christmas'. Now I have been trying to make Christmas cards whenever possible so this was a perfect week for me, another chance to add a Christmas card to the box. Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge 101 - Anything Goes DT

Good afternoon, hope you are having a lovely day. Today is a new challenge over at Secret Crafter and we are also celebrating the launch of 4 new fabulous Manga stamps, they are available as clear stamps at the moment but will go to digital later in the year. I have used 3 of the images on my cards but if you hop over to the blog you can see all of them used in various ways by the rest of the DT girls plus some exciting creations by our 2 special guest designers. Crafty Catz Challenge #50 - Chocolate & Green DT

Hello! Hope you have had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend. My little boy Ben has had his first football training session tonight after school, we have been looking for something that would include special needs for ages as he loves kicking a ball about and have finally found something and he loved it but he is sooo tired bless him! so I am a very proud mummy tonight lol! Anyway onto cards and a new challenge started today over at Crafty Catz and my lovely teamie Lindsey set the theme of chocolate and green. I am still on a mission to get Christmas cards done and decided to make one for this challenge and I am actually really pleased with the results, it is not traditional as such but I think it works ok and yes I have given in and put flowers on it, oh well I think we all knew it would happen. lol! Hope you can join us again this week.

Gotta Craft DT - Belles & Whistles A Merry-Go!

Good morning! Hope you have had a lovely weekend, it was very wet here, not much sun if any, autumn is really on it's way now, leaves are already dropping off the tree's, the summer really does disappear fast once you get into September. Anyway enough of my waffling and onto cards, Sandra at Gotta Craft sent me a lovely pack of goodies to play with a few weeks ago and I have come up with a few cards using the Belles and Whistles stamp that was included. This is the first Belles and Whistles stamp I have ever coloured and it was lovely to work with, it is called A Merry-Go and really reminds me of a merry go round I used to love to ride on when I was a child. The gorgeous papers are all from Cosmic Cricket and they all can be found at the Gotta Craft shop. Hope you like my cards.

Hello again .... Today is a new challenge over at Totally Gorjuss and also my first week back after my DT break over the summer - thank you to the lovely Net for allowing me the time away xxx Today's challenge is flowers, perfect for me and to make it even better we are sponsored by Wild Orchid Crafts whose flowers I adore and always use. I have used a Tilda image and coloured her with Promarkers and also used my favourite Memory Box papers - I am addicted to these at the moment, they were a great find from Quixotic Paperie and I will be back to buy more soon. Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge 100 - Sketch DT

Hello! Today we have a new challenge at Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and this week Helen has set us a fabulous sketch to follow. Again I have made a Christmas card but I am a bit happier with this one, I love Penny Black Christmas images especially the hedgehogs and must get myself some more for this year but I am still struggling with how to embellish, I am so used to adding tons of flowers and butterflies and that isn't Christmas is it. Anyway enough of my moaning and back to the card - I have coloured the image with my faithful Promarkers and you can get your hands on these over at the Secret Crafter shop plus lots of other gorgeous goodies too. I look forward to seeing all your lovely cards again this week and paying you all a visit.

Crafty Catz Challenge #49 - Paper Piecing DT

Good morning, hope everyone is well. Yesterday was a new challenge over at Crafty Catz and this week's challenge is paper piecing as set by Dianne. I decided to make a Christmas card as I need to get a move on with them but I am struggling to make any decent ones at the moment, just can't seem to get my christmas card head on. I love the image I have used for this card it is from Wild Rose Studio but the balance of the card seems all wrong and I just don't know what to embellish with - flowers just don't seem right somehow, any ideas would be much appreciated. Now I never do simple cards or I don't think I do so this was a challenge and to be honest I don't like my card I think it looks so plain and bare although I love the image. I have coloured with promarkers which are available at the Secret Crafter store and added some dry embossing. Crafty Catz Challenge 48 - 3 - 2 - 1 - DT

Hello! Hope you are all well and enjoying the lovely weather we have been having - typical that it goes nice now when the kids are back at school but that's life I suppose. Anyway today is a new challenge over at Crafty Catz and this week Carol has chosen a recipe of 3 embellishments, 2 papers and 1 image and we have a lovely stamp to win from our sponsor Crafts and Me. I have used my Indian Tilda image on this card and also added lots of distressing and my 3 embellishments are the flowers, pearl stems and gems and the lovely papers are from Memory Box.
