Good afternoon everyone, hope your Monday has been ok, it is soooo cold here today I just haven't been able to get warm. Anyway today is another challenge over on Cute Daisy May and the challenge this week is Valentines in Pink & Neutral. I have used one of Linnie's gorgeous designs along with some of my favourite MME Life Stories papers, it is pink although it looks red on the photo. Totally Gorjuss Challenge DT - Paper Piecing

Good morning. Today I have my DT card for Totally Gorjuss, it is a day late I am afraid as we were out all day yesterday and I didn't get chance to post it. This week's challenge is paper piecing and I really enjoyed this one. I don't often do this technique but I am going to from now on as it creates a lovely effect. Hop over to the blog to see all the other DT's creations and join in the fun.

Crafty Catz Challenge 17 - DT - Sketch

Good afternoon, hope you are all ready for the weekend. It has been soooo cold here today and I have just looked out of the window and it is snowing ...... hope it doesn't last long, I really feel we have had enough for one year! Anyway today is another challenge over at Crafty Catz and this week we have a great sketch to follow which has been designed by Dianne. This week is an exciting week as the prize is a 2 week guest design spot, so it has to be worth a go. I have used a lovely digi-image from Mo Manning, I am really, really loving her designs at the moment and they are a joy to colour. Looking forward to visiting you all soon!

Flutter By Wednesday GDT

Good morning, hope you are all well and having a good week. Today I have my Guest DT card for Flutter By Wednesday's. This week is an open challenge so you can let your imaginations run wild as long as there is a butterfly, angel or fairy on your card somewhere. I have used one of my favourite Tilda's for this card, I think she may be a Christmassy one really but I think she works quite well all year round. I have added lots of stickles for sparkle and I have nestled some little butterflies in among the flowers.

Digital Tuesday Challenge 43 DT

Hello! Today is another challenge over on Digital Tuesday and I am very happy at the moment as I have just had news that my father in law has had a successful heart bypass operation - he has been waiting for it since October and naturally we were all very anxious but everything seems good so far, fingers crossed for a fast recovery for him. Anyway back to Digital Tuesday and this weeks challenge is a humorous men's card - well I can't do men's cards to save my life and then to make it humorous aswell, all I can say is it just hasn't happened - it is not the slightest bit funny .. sorry! But if you want to see some funny men's cards hop over to the blog and see what all the other girls came up with, they did much better than me!

Cute Daisy May Guest DT Card - Vintage

Hello! Today I have my GDT card for Cute Daisy May, this weeks challenge is 'vintage'. I have used papers from Basic Grey Bittersweet pad and I think this pattern is so pretty and perfect for a vintage style card and I also distressed the edges of the papers with some tearing and distress inks. I am still very new to distress inks and have to admit I only have one colour - I would love to have a go at colouring images with them but have not yet plucked up the courage, I need to find a good tutorial to follow so if anyone knows of one I'd love to know. Anyway hop over to the blog to see all the other DT's gorgeous creations and to join in with us.

My First Bracelet

Good afternoon, hope you had a lovely weekend. Today is my sister in law's birthday and I have had a little go at making a bracelet for her. This is my first attempt at jewellery making and although it was fiddly at first, once I got into it I really enjoyed making it and will no doubt do more soon. I hope my sister in law likes it, guess I will find out this evening when I give it her - I will let you know the outcome tomorrow. I have also made a gift box/bag for the bracelet to go in but haven't taken a picture.
