Crafty Catz Challenge #69 - Valentine's - DT

Hi, hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend, it has been a bit warmer here this week so fingers crossed we might be able to get out to the park with the kids this weekend. The challenge this week over at Crafty Catz is Valentines or Love so I dug out one of my old Penny Black stamps and set to work, I rarely use these stamps but always love them when I do the hedgehogs are so cute. Well I hope you can join us this week and hope you all have a lovely day on Monday, we used to go out for a meal but with the cost and 2 kids if just isn't the same now but maybe that's just me getting old and boring lol!

Crafty Catz Challenge #68 - Tartan DT

Hello! Hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend. Today is another new challenge over at Crafty Catz and this week Trish has chosen the theme of 'tartan or plaid'. We also have some sad news this week as DT member Carly is leaving us, we wish her all the best and her gorgeous cards will be missed. Anyway onto my card and I have used one of the new Lili of the Valley stamps, I think this is my favourite and I loved colouring it, perfect for those Valentine's or Anniversary cards. Well I look forward to visiting you all this week and I hope you like my card.

Flutter By Wednesday GDT - Love

Good morning, it is another chilly one here in the North West today and there is the odd flutter of snow too, hope that doesn't continue. Today I have my Guest DT card for Flutterby Wednesday's and this week's theme is 'Love'. I have used a lovely image from Pink Cat Studio, I think the little fairies are so cute holding on to the heart and I added some glitter glue although I am not sure I should have done that. Allsorts Challenge Week 37 Sketch & DT Call

Good morning. Today I have made a card for the sketch challenge over at Allsorts, there is also a DT call on so this card is for that too. I have used one of my favourite Tilda's, I think she is so sweet with her heart arrows and bow and of course I had to use my Martha Stewart Valentine punch just to add to the effect. Hello! Today I have my DT card for Crafty Catz. This weeks challenge has been set by Carol and she wants a 'Love' card, it can be for Valentine's, an Anniversay or just to say 'I love you', whatever takes your fancy but hearts must appear on it somewhere. I have used a Penny Black image and the hearts are on the ribbon and nestled amongst the flowers. Digital Tuesday Challenge 40 DT Card - Valentines

Hello! Well today is officially 'snow' day - oh my, we have had inches and inches of the old white stuff overnight and it has basically brought Greater Manchester to a halt. All the schools are closed and no-one can get to work although my daft husband tried and got a couple of miles in 2 hours, came back got the car stuck, spent an age digging out the road to get it sort of outside our drive way, I think the right word for it is abandoned, but at least we are all safe and sound. Anyway on to my card and today is Digital Tuesday day and this weeks challenge was set by the lovely Paula and she wanted us to make a Valentines. I used a download from Pink Petticoat, I love it as it is quite modern and could be used for various things without the sentiment and I also used some of my new MME papers. Good morning. Well the kids are back at school today and I just about got them there on time after having to defrost the car inside ?? and out ... not fun! it was -8 at 8.40am !!
