Happy Birthday !

Hello! I know many of you will be in shock at 2 posts in one week, but I had time to make a card today and thought why not, it has been a long time since a made a card just because I wanted to.  I have used this adorable dog image which was free with Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine and the papers are from Basic Grey.  I don't use purple colours normally but I loved these papers and I am really pleased with the result.  Hope you like it too and thanks for visiting me today.

Crafty Catz Challenge #116

Hello! I am a little bit late with this post as we have had a busy weekend, out and about and then at my mum in law's for a lovely dinner on Saturday and then we were out again yesterday, went to B&Q for a look around - why it has become a favourite shop now I am older goodness knows but it is - does anyone else love it or have I lost the plot completely ?? anyway got some new curtains for my front room which I am so pleased with so that was good.  Well there was a new challenge on Friday at Crafty Catz and this week's theme is 'Buttons and Bows' and we are sponsored this week by Pink Cat Studio whose digi images are amazing and we were all lucky enough to be able to choose one to use on the DT and I went for Rex and Bronty Party.  I hope you can join us again this week and thanks for taking the time to visit me today.

Happy New Year ! Crafty Catz Challenge #115

Happy New Year everyone.  Sorry it is very late, I hope everyone is having a good year so far and that Santa brought you lots of crafty bits and bobs.  I was a terrible blogger last year and my new year resolution was to be a better one this year so hopefully this will be the first of lots of cards this year.  We have a new challenge started today over at Crafty Catz and the theme as set by the lovely Auntie Sue is to use 'something new'.  Well to get me back in the card making mood I had to have a little shop at The Glitter Pot and as I have always admired the Hero Arts stamps but never been brave enough to try them as they are not my usual style thought this would be the perfect opportunity to give them a go.  I love this stamp, it is called Newspaper Tulip and I think you could use it for many different occasions and I loved using it too, I am going to be buying some more soon and maybe a few different coloured ink pads too.  I hope you like my card, it is different to what I normally do, my hubbie wasn't convinced he said it was too plain but I am open to any comments good or bad.
Lastly I have a photo to share with you all of myself and my beautiful little girl Grayce.  This was taken just before Christmas and I love it.  I never have photos taken but I have been on Weight Watchers for 12 months now and I am proud to say have lost 4 stone and only have 8 pounds to go :) and now I finally feel happy enough for photos so this is a big moment for me.

Halloween

Hello! Hope you are all having a great weekend ! I am busy this weekend as we are having a kids halloween party tomorrow, only 6 kids including mine but still I must be mad lol!  Also Grayce is 6 on Wednesday and she is having a bowling party after school with 12 of her friends so that should be fun but mad all at the same time.  I have a card for you today and this is for the Halloween challenge we have going at the moment over at Crafty Catz, the fabulous image is from our sponsor The Paper Shelter and I had so much fun colouring this in.  I hope you can join in the fun with me and the girls this week and if you are having a Halloween party yourself I hope you have a great time.

Sweet Blossom

Hello! Today I have my Crafty Catz DT card for you, this should have been posted last Friday but hey ho the old memory is failing me at the moment and I totally forgot.  For this card I have used a digi image from Wee Stamps called Sweet Blossom, I adore these images and loved colouring it and I have bought a few more so look out for those hopefully very soon.  I hope you like my card and thank you for visiting me today.

Hello! Crafty Catz Challenge 98 Monochrome DT

Hello!  Hope you all had a good bank holiday weekend and saw a little bit of sun, it was lovely here yesterday but is dull again today, it's not looking good for the rest of summer is it ?  I took the kids to the park yesterday and there was a tree already turning to it's autumn colours and a few leaves on the floor and I have had the heating on occasionally too - not done that in August for a long time.  Anyway enough with the moaning and onto the new challenge at Crafty Catz.  This week Dianne has chosen the theme of 'Monochrome', which is a card featuring shades of one colour so I just had to use pink, and the image is from our fab sponsor - The Stamping Boutique.  I love this image, my favourite place in the whole world is Costa Coffee, my husband says it's my house of worship lol! so this image with the lattes on was a must for me.  Well I hope you like my card and thank you for taking the time to visit.
