Crafty Catz Challenge 21 - DT - Fancy Edge & Ribbon

Hello! Today we have a new challenge over at Crafty Catz and this week Dianne has set the theme and she would like to see a fancy edge and some ribbon on your cards. I have used some shaped cards for my fancy edge but I never quite know how to decorate them hence the rather strange card - my daughter who is 4 asked me when I was going to finish it !!! Your Next Stamp Guest DT Card

Good afternoon! This week is my final week as a GDT for Your Next Stamp ..sniff! and I have loved every minute of the last 4 weeks, so a big thank you to Karen, Simonne and the girls for putting up with me .. mwah! I have used the turtle from Fhiona's pet's range and made a card for a little boy, I love this stamp and it is great for kids. Digital Tuesday Challenge 47 - DT - A Card for Mum

Good morning. Today I have my DT card for Digital Tuesday and this week's challenge has been set by the lovely Lorraine and she would like a card for mum - whether it be for Mother's Day, a birthday whatever just have fun. I have used a digi image from Elisabeth Bell and I adore it, it was great to colour and is so sweet. I struggled with the layout for this card, my mojo went off on a wander and I am not totally happy with it - the flowers are all wrong and it just seems unbalanced so I had a day off from crafting yesterday in the hope my mojo returns today. Cute Daisy May Guest DT Card - Flowers

Hello, hope the week has started well for you all. Today is a new challenge over at Cute Daisy May and this week's challenge is 'flowers'. Well as I have said before I can't get enough flowers on my cards, whether it be on the papers or actual flowers as embellishments and this week I had a change. I have had a Xcut flower punch in my box for months and months and have never used it as I felt it wasn't flowery enough ..lol! but this week I blew off the cobwebs and gave it another chance and once I had curled the edges of the flowers a bit I now love it !! isn't that odd, but I am terrible for that - writing something off and then ages later deciding it wasn't that bad after all. I hope you like my card and I look forward to visiting you all this week and seeing all your flowery creations.

Totally Gorjuss Challenge 18 - DT - Flower Power

Good evening, hope you are all having a great weekend. We are in the middle of doing up our bathroom at the minute, well I say 'we' it is more my husband with me overseeing. We have been in the house 3 years and the bathroom was awful, all blue and white tiles with shells and things on but the saving grace was the bath suite itself was white and perfect so we don't need to change that. We pulled all the tiles off and last week filled in lots of holes and my hubbie today bless him has sanded down all the walls and they are pretty good now but he was covered from head to toe in dust afterwards ...lol! Anyway the fun begins now as it is paint time and I have chosen some gorgeous mosiac glass tiles for around the edge of the bath and over the sink - couldn't afford to do the whole room at £50 a pack !!! but I love them so it will be worth it. New taps and accessories are all on my list and hopefully by the end of April we will be done ... have to get a bit each month but it will be worth the wait, I am very excited about the whole thing, can you tell !! Anyway enough of my babbling and onto a new challenge over at Totally Gorjuss, Net chose 'flower power' as the theme this week so it was perfect for me as I love my flowers and I couldn't resist paper piecing her dress. Your Next Stamp February Releases

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well. Today is an exciting day over at Your Next Stamp as the new stamps for February are released today and they are sooooo gorgeous. The new stamps are Fhiona's Pets and Treats which I have used the bunny and turtle from to make 2 bookmarks and 4 new stamps in the Franfrou range - a doggie, hippo, porcupine and vacation bear. Flutter By Wednesday GDT - Love

Good morning, it is another chilly one here in the North West today and there is the odd flutter of snow too, hope that doesn't continue. Today I have my Guest DT card for Flutterby Wednesday's and this week's theme is 'Love'. I have used a lovely image from Pink Cat Studio, I think the little fairies are so cute holding on to the heart and I added some glitter glue although I am not sure I should have done that. Good evening everyone, hope your week is going well. Today is a new challenge over at Digital Tuesday and Ellie is our host this week. The theme for this week's challenge is 'animals' so it gives lots of options for your imaginations to run wild. I have used an old image that I have had stored on my computer for ages, he is called Albert Dog and I am pretty sure he was from Pollycraft - apologies if I am wrong. It is quite a plain and simple card for me but I am going to give it to my brother in law from the kids as it is his birthday next week and I know he will like the style of it. Cute Daisy May Guest DT Card - Lavender & Lace

Good morning. Today is another challenge over on Cute Daisy May and this weeks theme is Lavender and Lace. I have used one of Linnie's gorgeous digital images and the papers are some I found at the bottom of my stash. After having to use purples twice this week for DT cards it has made me realise I just don't have a good enough range of colours in my papers and ribbons etc, I seem to be drawn towards pinks so I must sort this out as you never know what the next challenge might be ...LOL! Hope you are all having a lovely relaxing Sunday morning, I have just finished a great big pile of ironing so I am hoping to have a quiet afternoon, wishful thinking maybe with two active little ones. Good afternoon, hope you are all having a good week. Today is my first week as a guest DT for Your Next Stamp, I was honoured to be asked by Karen to be a Guest Starlet for the month of February and I am loving it already. This weeks great challenge was set by Maureen and she wants us to include a charm on our creations. I have used the fantastic 'Bad Hair Day Fhiona' stamp set and I love her as she reminds me of myself with her dressing gown and hot drink - I love to get all cosy in an evening with a hot drink, must be my age LOL!
